The Company's lead product is a topical patch formulation of diclofenac sodium, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). The patch is currently being tested in three Phase 3 studies for the treatment of mild-to-moderate pain due to acute ankle sprain, wrist injury or soft tissue injury.

In October 2005, Cerimon completed a Series A financing of $70 million with MPM Capital, Nomura Phase4 Ventures and OrbiMed Advisors.
