Cerimon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is an emerging biopharmaceutical company that develops and commercializes products to meet unmet patient needs in autoimmune disease, inflammation, and pain. The Company employs a corporate strategy of in-licensing late-stage or marketed drugs to reduce development and regulatory risk, decrease time to market, and expand the commercial potential of known drugs.

The Company's lead products are Simulect® (basiliximab, a monoclonal antibody currently in Phase II clinical trials for the treatment of steroid refractory ulcerative colitis and non-infectious uveitis, and topical formulations of diclofenac, a topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) in Phase II/III development for the
treatment of musculoskeletal pain. By leveraging the extensive development and commercialization capabilities of its highly experienced team, Cerimon is pursuing a novel de-risked strategy to develop superior medicines in areas of unmet need.

In October 2005, Cerimon completed a Series A financing of $70M with MPM Capital, Nomura Phase4 Ventures and OrbiMed Advisors.
